Our Sales and Service departments are deeply engrained in the functional areas of the business, partner, and customer experiences. Team members are expected not only to have the skills to analyze data and surface takeaways/recommendations but must also lead cross-functional decision-making processes and communicate recommendations to leaders at all levels in the company. Through the intern program, we are looking to find the next wave of talent to drive these efforts.

Even interns within our sales, delivery, and service organizations support routine analysis and reporting on Tesla vehicle issues and customer support volume fluctuation; provide frequent feedback with data insight to customer team leads, showroom managers, and service centers. Tesla is a fast moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. The successful candidate will be a self-starter; motivated and positive person who is willing to achieve what many say is impossible.

Team Overviews:

Campaigns and Compliance: Responsible for managing critical, multi-disciplinary projects to solve complex business problems and find a path to support. Team supports multiple Service Campaigns and vehicle quality improvement initiatives. They collaborate in a cross-functional environment to drive compliance initiatives. Interns would help Identify and develop process and systems improvement initiatives for managing campaigns and initiatives. 

Market Readiness and Sustainability: Responsible for understanding and gathering existing service centers’ needs for site improvement. Collect data and corral information from pertinent parties to evaluate the needs. Build business cases articulating cost and benefits. Own end-to-end execution of the improvement efforts. Perform recurring analysis of ticketing data to identify bottle necks. Recommend improvement plans by proactively analyzing your research.

Retail Development: Responsible for designing, building and maintaining new stores and service centers that help drive the company’s impressive growth worldwide. Team is also responsible for driving remodels and small works projects to enhance the client experience and operational efficiency. The intern directly supports repairs and maintenance programs as well as unique, highly complex projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget, in close collaboration with various business partners.
