About the job

Since anti-money laundering (AML) compliance is becoming a significant area in financial sector due to increasing regulations, we are working in constantly changing environment from procedures perspective. Our team handles two tasks: Know Your Client (KYC) reviews and Client Set-Up in the systems of all Clients and Counterparties within Swedbank LC&I unit. We take responsibility to determine whether there is no involvement in money laundering (ML) and ensure that Swedbank has business relationships only with transparent Clients and Counterparties. In addition to that Clients and Counterparties respectively have to be updated in the systems: on-boarded, renewed with information, off-boarded.

Responsibilities

As a KYC analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing our Clients, which are legal entities – international financial institutions. You will be part of a team which ensures that Swedbank conducts due diligence and AML compliance by collecting documentation/information of our Clients from external applications and data bases, analyzing and verifying findings, Clients activity and preventing Swedbank from illegal business relationships. You will also interpret how the working procedures can be further improved. Overall you will have the following responsibilities: Collect, review and verify documentation and information about the Client; Analysis and investigate in accordance with AML/CTF legislation; Independently evaluate and decide the AML/CTF risk class of the Client and prepare the risk analysis; Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of KYC reviews; Stay constantly updated with the latest information on working procedures; Proactively work independently; Participate in the conference calls/meetings with Swedish colleagues; Input in process improvement. Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Finance/Banking/Politics/Law/Economics; - Interest of AML/CTF legislation and various business regulations; - Interest and/or experience in working with analysis; - Fluent in English with outstanding verbal, written and listening skills; - Very good communication skills in oral and writing; - High integrity; - Analytical thinking, attentive to details, - Ability to work in a tight deadlines environment with high quality output; - Ability to multitask and navigate through multiple systems; - Initiative, responsible, positive attitude; - Willing to learn continuously to improve process knowledge;

Nice to have

Additional language (Russian/French/German/Spanish/Arabic) would be an advantage.
